Marketing & Public Relations Services to CF Faculty and Staff

The role of the Marketing and Public Relations Department at CF is to help shape and appropriately convey the college’s image to both internal and external customers. Whether you want to promote a student performance or print T-shirts for a college event, Marketing and Public Relations should be your first stop. While team members are eager to assist you, requests are subject to priorities, budget resources and time constraints. Please plan accordingly.

How can we serve you?

Request assistance in promoting your event.

Submit information once for an advertisement, news release, plasma screen posting, inclusion in Insider or a college publication. An advertisement or news release is appropriate for events that are open to the public. Plasma screen postings and Insider are appropriate for internal and external events. Submit requests at least four weeks before your event.

Request photography, videography or ITV services.

A team member is available to photograph, video, or provide ITV services for your event. Submit requests at least two weeks before the event to ensure coverage.

Reserve a tablecloth, golf cart, camera, retractable display.

We have display items to help you represent CF well at your event, as well as easy-to-use cameras, and a golf cart. Stop by to see what we have available.

Order a business card or name badge.

Business cards and name badges require approvals and generally take two weeks to be set up and printed once they arrive in Marketing and Public Relations. We encourage you to order these items for new employees so they are available when they report for their first day at CF.

Submit an item for collegewide broadcast.

You may request a collegewide email for information with broad appeal. IT requests that broadcasts contain minimal graphics. You will need to obtain approval from your vice president before submitting the information for broadcast.

Order academic program cards or other CF publications.

Rack cards are available for each of the more than 60 academic programs that we offer, as well as cards with general information about college services. You may also request copies of our viewbook, financial aid brochure, annual report, and other publications. 

Request a logo or assistance in creating or ordering promotional items.

Logos are available in a number of formats for use on your projects. We can also assist in creating artwork for promotional items.

Submit print projects for proofreading or request changes to a form.

All print documents (other than those created for the classroom) must be submitted to Marketing and Public Relations for proofreading. Please allow adequate time for review, revisions, printing and distribution. Submit a request for a new form or request changes to a current form.

Share news about a successful student or CF family member.

Do you know a student who has overcome adversity, earned an award, or is otherwise successful? Have you published a book or received an honor? Information may be suitable for a news release, Insider newsletter, Connection magazine, or other media. Hear My Story is our online submission form for anyone who would like to share their experience with CF.
