Phi Theta Kappa
PTK graduates receive their stoles and tassels when they bring 20 donation items or a $20 donation to the PTK table at commencement check-in. Donation items include canned food and children's books.
On the graduation application, students are asked to indicate if they would like to participate in commencement. All applicants' names are printed in the ceremony program. In order to ensure that your name is included in the printed program, please submit your graduation application by the deadlines below.
Apply for graduation by logging into your MyCF portal, clicking on the Graduation tab. Look for the Graduation Checklist, click on Graduation Application and follow instructions.
Spring Graduation Deadline: March 1
Summer Graduation Deadline (see below for information about summer graduates): May 23
CF does not conduct summer graduation ceremonies. Students eligible for summer graduation may choose to march in the prior spring ceremony or next fall ceremony. Students who choose to march in the spring ceremony must submit their summer graduation application by the spring semester deadline. Students who choose to march in the fall ceremony must submit their summer graduation application by the summer semester deadline. Names of summer graduates will be printed in the commencement program that they select on the graduation application.
Caps and Gowns
Graduates who wish to participate in the ceremony will need to purchase their caps and gowns from the CF Bookstore.
As of spring 2019, CF is using a new cap and gown style and material that looks significantly different from those used in previous semesters. In order to create a uniform look across all graduates, we strongly encourage you to purchase a new cap and gown instead of borrowing one of the previous styles.
The order deadline for cap, gown and tassel bundles online at herffjones.com is March 15.
Ocala and Citrus online orders will be available for pick up April 17. Levy orders will be available for pick up May 2 at the CF Levy campus. A photo ID is required for online order pick up.
If a student misses the online deadline, they can purchase a bundle from the Ocala or Citrus CF bookstores starting April 17.

Baccalaureate students will wear a navy blue gown. Be sure to let bookstore staff know that you are a baccalaureate candidate.
Invitations, announcements, class rings, thank you cards, frames, etc., are available to purchase through Herff Jones®. Visit the Herff Jones® website or click the link in the right blue navigation to view products. (The Herff Jones® site is available approximately two months before graduation.)
(Subject to changes.) Flowers will be sold before and after the ceremony. Proceeds benefit the College of Central Florida Chapter of the Association of Florida Colleges. Cash and credit cards accepted.

Pictures taken by our CF Marketing staff will be posted on our mainCF Facebook pagewithin a few days of the event. Be sure to "Like" us while you are there to stay updated with your Alma Mater.

The sanctuary will open for seating one hour before the ceremony through the main entrance only.
Balloons are not allowed in the sanctuary.
Please remain in your seats until the ceremony ends out of respect for all graduates.Anyone using devices making loud noises will be asked to leave immediately.
Guests requiring special accommodations such as wheelchair access, interpreter, etc., should contact Disability Services, at 352‑873‑5843, as soon as possible. Handicapped parking is available in designated spaces. Pre-seating available.
There is a designated area for photographs; please exit the area upon photographing your graduate to allow others to photograph their graduates.
