Studio Art

Art classroom Tyrus Clutter, Faculty instructs students in framing

CF’s studio art courses offer a foundation that allows you to transfer to four-year program, but also enables you to explore extended creative options through ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture. Students from any course of study are able to investigate creative processes, while those seeking to pursue art as a career can take more advanced classes in areas of specific interest. All CF students have the opportunity to exhibit work in the Ocala Campus Webber Gallery. Additional exhibition opportunities exist for those who join the college’s Visual Artists' Society. Visual Arts students may also wish to get involved in campus projects, like the recent painting of the Patriot Pride horse, through the CF Art Club.

Students seeking transfer to the State University System of Florida and art schools will want to check out this document that details the application and transfer processes for several of those institutions.
