Background Checks & Fingerprinting

Fingerprints for the digital worldLaw Enforcement and Corrections Academy applicants and students enrolled in an education major or a health occupations program may obtain a criminal background check at the Criminal Justice Institute, Building 31, Room 108.

The first step in the process is to go to the Cashier’s Office in the Bryant Student Union, Building 5, Room 101 and make payment in the amount of $55 for students and volunteers or $79 for Department of Health Licensing. The Cashier’s Office will then provide the necessary forms to the student for this service. The next step is to contact Cindy Baldwin in Building 31 or by phone at 352-873-5838.

Criminal background checks are done each week on the following schedule:

Fall and Spring Terms

Monday

1:30-4 p.m.

Tuesday

10-11:30 a.m.

Wednesday and Thursday

10-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m.

Friday

By Appointment Only

Summer Term

Tuesday

10–11:30 a.m.

Wednesday and Thursday

10-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m.
