What bachelor’s degree programs are offered at the College of Central Florida?
CF offers the Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Management with specializations in Agribusiness Management, Equine Studies, Health Care Management, Management Information Systems and Public Safety Administration, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Who may apply to these programs?
Applicants to the B.A.S. program must have an Associate in Arts or an Associate in Science degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of application to graduate if they are in their final semester and will earn an associate or higher level degree at the end of that semester.

How will the B.A.S. degree help my career?
Many jobs require a four-year degree; therefore, the bachelor’s degree can open doors to more employment opportunities and higher compensation for graduates. The B.A.S. is designed to prepare graduates for career advancement in a wide variety of management positions.

When/where can I apply?
The B.A.S. application is available online by clicking here or on the CF website by clicking on Apply Now at, then follow the links. Applicants must have an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree or higher.

What are the admissions criteria?
Applicants must complete an A.S., A.A. or higher degree, submit a CF Bachelor Degree Program application along with the application fee, and request to have official high school transcripts and all college transcripts sent from all colleges attended.

Is there a foreign language requirement?
Students must complete two years of the same foreign language in high school or eight credits in college to meet Florida graduation requirements.

How much is the B.A.S. application fee?
There is a one-time, nonrefundable $30 application fee. The fee can be paid online with submission of the application or you may submit the application and pay the fee at the Cashiers Office at the CF Campus nearest you, or mail a check to the CF Office of Admissions, 3001 S.W. College Road, Ocala, FL 34474-4415.

How do I register for classes?
Students must see a CF academic advisor for their initial class registration. Make an appointment with an advisor. You can find your advisor here

Is financial assistance available for the B.A.S.?
Yes. Grants, scholarships and loans are available to eligible students. Submit an online Free Application for Federal Student Aid to be eligible for financial aid at CF. Be sure to include CF’s federal school code number, 001471.

How much does the B.A.S. program cost?
Currently, tuition is $122.89 per credit hour for Florida residents and $570.77 for nonresidents. Lab fees and textbooks will be additional costs.

Can I pay my tuition and fees online or do I have to come to campus?
After you have registered for courses, you may pay online by logging in to the MyCF portal at Click on the Enrollment tab, then My Classes and Fees and then My Fee Statement. Scroll to the bottom of the page for online payment information.

How long will it take me to complete the B.A.S. program?
Students must successfully complete a minimum of 60 credits beyond the associate degree to earn a bachelor’s degree. On average, full-time students finish such a degree in approximately two years. However, completion time is dependent upon previously earned credits and number of hours enrolled each semester.

Can I attend this program as either a part-time or full-time student?

Are B.A.S. courses offered online?
Most classes meet at least once a week at the CF Ocala Campus. Some classes are offered online and some in a hybrid format (online and onsite).

Will I receive credit for courses taken at another institution and will those courses appear on my transcript?
An evaluation of your transcripts will determine if you receive credit for courses taken elsewhere. Those courses will appear on your CF transcript. Students must complete 25 percent of their coursework toward the B.A.S. at CF (i.e., 15 credits of upper division coursework, 3000 and 4000 level).

Where will I purchase my textbooks?
Textbooks for the B.A.S. upper division courses are available in the CF Bookstore at the Ocala Campus and from other sources.

Do you offer other bachelor’s degree programs?
A Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education is also offered. This degree is designed for students to earn PreK-3 certification for teaching in an early childhood child care facility or public or private school. The application is available online by clicking here.
