What is RN-BSN?
The RN-BSN program is for nurses who have completed an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program, have an active, unencumbered Florida RN license or who will earn their active, unencumbered Florida RN license before beginning the second semester of the CF RN-BSN program and who desire to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
How long is the program?
Full time will take four semesters; part time takes seven semesters. Individuals interested should contact the RN-BSN nursing advisor for specific details pertaining to you.
What is the cost for an in-state resident?
Approximate cost for the program for an in-state Florida resident is $6,300.
What differentiates the CF program from other RN-BSN programs?
College of Central Florida’s RN-BSN program provides high quality, affordable education, with state of the art, high-fidelity simulation labs. We provide flexible schedules, and take pride in our committed and caring faculty.
Where do I get an application?
All BSN degree seeking students must be students in good standing at the College of Central Florida. The CF application can be found here. The CF application fee is $30. Once a student is ready to apply to the BSN program, they can fill out and print the BSN application for submission.
When is the application deadline?
Applications for the RN-BSN program are accepted throughout the year. Specific deadlines differ based on the semester you wish to begin: Dec. 1 for spring, April 1 for Summer and July 15 for fall.
Is Financial Aid available for the RN - BSN Program?
The RN-BSN program qualifies for financial aid. Please consult Financial Aid to assist with individual eligibility. Log in with your CF I.D. at the MyCF portal or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Do I need to be a licensed Florida RN to be in the program?
Students should have their active, unencumbered Florida RN license already or have recently graduated from an accredited RN program an will earn their active, unencumbered Florida RN license before beginning the second semester of the BSN program.
